At SBSL, we have a fleet of versatile and reliable vehicles, allowing us to respond quickly to all types of sites. But our true strength lies in the quality of our cutting, repair, and construction equipment.
We use high-performance indoor, outdoor, wall, and floor saws, as well as Husqvarna saws offering power, stability, and precision. Our teams also work with hydraulic units, generators, water pumps, compressors, and a full range of jackhammers, ensuring efficiency and autonomy on site.
For repair work, we prioritize only high-quality materials, including carbon fiber reinforcement, known for its exceptional strength and durability. This type of material provides solid, clean, and durable reinforcements, even in highly demanding conditions. And this is just part of our resources: we have much more high-performance equipment and materials, carefully selected to ensure reliable, precise, and consistent work on every project.

Daniel Gaignard
President
Leading Sciage de béton St-Léonard since taking over the family business founded in 1980, Daniel Gaignard combines tradition and innovation. Holder of a BAA in finance, he has propelled the company to new heights through constant curiosity and an unwavering passion for customer service.
A determined entrepreneur and passionate skier, Daniel firmly believes that success depends on team strength. Alongside his sister Brigitte, he proudly leads a dedicated and talented team, while maintaining a vital balance between professional ambitions and family roots. For him, every project is an opportunity to surpass oneself without ever compromising the human values that build the company’s reputation.
Roméo Gaignard
Founder
In 1980, at age 40, Roméo Gaignard founded Sciage de béton St-Léonard after recognizing a strategic opportunity during the deployment of natural gas networks in Quebec. With a diverse background—from steel structure assembler in Toronto to prospecting for Hydro-Québec—he built the company on a central pillar: a sincere love for people and an innate sense of customer service.
Supported from the beginning by his wife Louisette, he secured major contracts, notably for the Electric Commission, positioning the company as a key player in underground infrastructure. Passing leadership to his children Daniel and Brigitte in 2003, he preserved a strong legacy of human and family values. Even today, his wise advice and leadership vision continue to inspire the organization’s success and growth.
